JobScalr
An AI job search app that tailors your CV and cover letter to one specific posting, without inventing experience you do not have.
Status: built for iOS and Android. Store launch in preparation, waitlist open at jobscalr.works.
What it does
Six things, in the order you meet them.
Jobs from the sources themselves
Postings come from Adzuna, company ATS boards including Greenhouse, Workable, SmartRecruiters and Workday, Arbeitnow, the German Bundesagentur für Arbeit, and remote job boards.
A match score with reasons
Every posting gets a 0 to 100 fit score against your profile, together with what is driving the number.
A CV rewritten for the country
A German Lebenslauf keeps gap free stations and a photo. A UK CV drops the photo and leads with skills. The app applies the convention of the country you are applying in.
Cover letters grounded in the company
Each letter is drafted against research on that specific employer, cached per company so the same lookup is not repeated. It is a draft you review and edit before sending, and it says so.
Interview prep and skill gaps
Spaced repetition practice questions for the roles you are chasing, and a plain view of where your profile is short for them.
Tracking that survives 40 applications
Save from the feed, paste a link, or share a posting into the app. Status and follow up reminders sit with the job itself.
What it will not do
These are design decisions, not gaps waiting to be filled.
It never applies for you
You submit every application yourself. Nothing is sent on your behalf.
It never invents a skill
If something is missing from your profile, the app asks you instead of filling the gap with a plausible sentence. Every document is produced by a language model and is a draft you own.
No ATS or interview guarantee
There is no claim that it passes any particular applicant tracking system, and no promise of an interview or a callback. Nobody has that data.
Cost and languages
Browsing jobs is free and every account gets one match analysis free. AI tailoring and letter generation run on a paid subscription plus a credit balance. The interface is available in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
